As long as you can stay grounded while hoping for more, I think you’ll do alright. Everyone has their own way of coping and navigating through life. I am deeply blessed to be somewhat sane and spiritually embraced.

Lonely in the midst of chaos. I was always very much within myself, but also very present and observant of the circumstances and people around me. I was an unusual child, to say the least. Guess I still am rather unusual… 😀
I like the flow of this one. It captures that experience of growing up slowly, step by step, and never fast enough. Looks like you achieved your dreams though, of creating someplace better.
A natural born survivor… sometimes being a dreamer saves your soul, if it provides just the right amount of escape in the right moments… 🙂 I’m sure you know “onward and upward” takes lots of practice and faith!
